What is this?

A unified dataset of edited diplomatic documents (letters, telegrams, despatches, memoranda) from official published series. The proof-of-concept includes a tiny sample from France (DDF), the UK (British Documents), and Germany (Grosse Politik).

What can I do?

Search by date and content, filter by country and document type, view the “from → to” header, and export the current selection as CSV or JSON for analysis.

Additional corpora will be added as licenses and availability permit.

Data is released under CC0 1.0. Code in this repository is permissively licensed (MIT/Apache-2). Roadmap: expand coverage, enrich metadata (sender/recipient normalization), and add multi-country browsing and downloads for larger releases.
